Psalms 130

The psalmist professeth his hope in prayer,

Psalms 130:1 {The title of the hundrid and nyne and twentithe salm. The song of greces.} Lord, Y criede to thee fro depthes; Lord, here thou mi vois. Psalms 130:2 Thin eeris be maad ententif; in to the vois of my biseching. Psalms 130:3 Lord, if thou kepist wickidnessis; Lord, who schal susteyne? Psalms 130:4 For merci is at thee;

and his patience in hope.

Psalms 130:5 and, Lord, for thi lawe Y abood thee. Mi soule susteynede in his word; Psalms 130:6 my soule hopide in the Lord. Fro the morewtid keping til to niyt;

He exhorteth Israel to hope in God.

Psalms 130:7 Israel hope in the Lord. For whi merci is at the Lord; and plenteous redempcioun is at hym. Psalms 130:8 And he schal ayen bie Israel; fro alle the wickidnessis therof.
